September 11, 2001 changed the modern world forever in an instant.  In this remote field in Pennsylvania, the first efforts in the war against terrorism began mid flight when a number of courageous souls were willing to give their lives bringing down a plane to save countless others.  Visiting this site is one of th emost emotional and sobering sites to visit for those that remember watching this day's events unfold.
